a) PLANNING ASSURANCE -
The raw materials are procured from the best source from the domestic global market. These sources are selected based on Company’s stringent standards, vendor evaluation/ continuous assessment and testing.
a) RAW MATERIALS ASSURANCE -
Customers requirements, alongwith the orders are taken into Quality Planning with due care on designing, manufacturing, testing and performance aspects.
a) ON-LINE ASSURANCE -
The Amardeep production facilities boast of online computerised control system on all its critical processes and engineers for online testing to ensure the consistency in quality.
a) QUALITY CONTROL:
In the manufacture of Cables, intelligent efforts are incorporated to achieve quality. For a quality end products, controls starts from proper designing of the product. Continuity is maintained in stage-wise inspection in order to ensure conformity with the requirement of relevant Indian & International Standards.
a) STAGE-WISE INSPECTION:
1) Wire Drawing: Wire diameter, Surface, Shape, Quality of the joints in wires
2) Stranding of Wires: Quality of joints in the wires, Compaction of Conductor, Dimensions, Resistance of Conductor
3) Insulation: Dimension over Insulation, Thickness of Insulation.
4) Curing (for XLPE Insulation) : Hot set Test, Tensile strength & elongation test
5) Screening (for H.T. Screened Cables) : Dimension over screen, Thickness of screen, visual examination of surface/defects.
6) Laying Up: Sequence of Cores, Direction of lay, Diameter over laid up cores, Circularity.
7) Inner Sheath: Thickness of Sheath, Diameter over Sheath, Surface Uniformity, Circularity, Porosity.
- 8) Armouring: Diameter of Wires/ Dimensions of Strips, Direction of lay, Coverage, Quality of Joints of Wires.
- Outer Sheath: Thickness of Sheath, Diameter over Sheath, Tightness of Sheath, Eccentricity porosity, Embossing.
